About the role

The Country Controller for the Philippines will lead all controllership activities for 3M’s local entities, ensuring financial integrity, statutory compliance and robust internal controls. This senior finance leader partners with cross‑functional teams and shared‑service providers to drive governance and high‑quality financial stewardship aligned with business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, balance‑sheet governance and legal‑entity financial integrity.
• Lead statutory audits, regulatory matters and entity‑level compliance requirements.
• Promote a strong controls environment, risk awareness and sound financial decision‑making.
• Collaborate with business, operations, tax, legal, HR, payroll and procurement leaders, as well as BPO shared‑services partners.
• Resolve complex accounting, reporting and entity issues in line with corporate policies and local regulations.
• Support strategic initiatives, organizational changes and business growth by assessing financial and compliance implications.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency across finance and cross‑functional activities.
• Build relationships with regional and global finance leadership to align local needs with enterprise priorities.
