Cost Control Supervisor – Construction Projects

About the role

The Site QS Cost Control Supervisor ensures the financial health of construction projects by preparing cost reports, monitoring budgets, and supporting the project team with accurate financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed baseline budgets, quantity take‑offs and cost estimates from project scope and drawings.
• Supervise senior and junior engineers on site, ensuring compliance with guidelines and policies.
• Develop BOQ, BOM and TOR for project awards and monitor actual costs against approved budgets.
• Generate cost reports, provide recommendations, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage contractor billing, validate calculation sheets, and reconcile documents.
• Monitor change orders, evaluate claims, and handle extensions of time.
• Prepare budget transfers, supplemental budget requests, and consolidated cost monitoring reports.
• Assist with project contract administration, including correspondence, meetings and negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution.
• Valid PRC license or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years experience in quantity surveying, cost monitoring or change‑order management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
