Cost Accounting Officer

About the role

The Cost Accounting Officer will support Zenith Foods by analysing financial performance, maintaining cost standards, and providing insight for budgeting and forecasting. This role works closely with supply‑chain and production teams to ensure accurate cost data and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review financial and balance‑sheet accounts, conduct variance analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Update system set‑up for standard cost and transfer‑price tables.
• Gather and maintain data on manpower costs, operations provision, and capital‑expenditure orders.
• Participate in cross‑functional supply‑chain projects, offering financial impact insights.
• Validate, process, and organise historical and current financial data for reports.
• Track internal capital‑expenditure orders and perform inventory counts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years experience in product cost accounting or cost management.
• Minimum three (3) years experience in production or inventory planning within a food‑manufacturing environment.
• Preferably a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
• Strong communication, leadership, and independent work capabilities.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup at Canlubang, Laguna.
