About the role
The Cost Accountant will use cost accounting techniques to report, analyze, and improve internal cost controls and overall efficiency. This position supports the finance team by providing accurate cost data and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain cost accounting records, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
- Analyze manufacturing variances and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Generate regular cost reports for management review.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to validate cost data.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to cost of goods sold.
Required profile
- Graduate of a BS in Accountancy.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
- Open to candidates with or without prior work experience.
Required skills
- Knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing variance analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
