Corporate Lawyer – Procurement & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer to strengthen our procurement, compliance, and corporate legal functions. The successful candidate will provide expert legal guidance on public bidding, government procurement, and contract management, ensuring transparency and good governance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on procurement, bidding, and contract matters, interpreting laws such as RA 9184, COA regulations, and the Civil Code.
• Conduct bid audits, review eligibility and evaluation criteria, and identify risks or irregularities.
• Monitor compliance with procurement procedures, timelines, and documentation requirements.
• Draft, review, and finalize procurement contracts, MOAs, and related agreements, recommending mitigation strategies for legal and financial risks.
• Support departments in decision‑making, represent the organization in litigation, negotiations, and disputes related to procurement.
• Coordinate with government agencies, auditors, and external counsel as needed.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) with an active legal practice.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, public bidding, or corporate law.
• Proven exposure to bid audit, BAC processes, or government procurement (highly preferred).
• Strong background in compliance and corporate legal frameworks.
• In‑depth knowledge of RA 12009, COA Circulars, and related legislation.
