Corporate Affairs Officer – External Communications

About the role

The Corporate Affairs Officer will support the supervising officer in developing and implementing Metrobank’s public relations and stakeholder communication strategies. This role covers corporate communications, media relations, and crisis management for the bank and its subsidiaries, ensuring consistent messaging across all audiences. Metrobank emphasizes community involvement and aims to contribute to the nation’s economic and social development, offering employees the chance to make meaningful contributions. The position sits within the Analytics, Brand, Communications and Marketing Technology Group and is based at GT Tower in Makati.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR plans and campaigns for the bank, its business units, and subsidiaries.
• Support media relations initiatives and other stakeholder engagement activities.
• Create executive, client, and media communications, including statements and press releases.
• Prepare crisis communication materials to manage negative publicity.
• Assist in conceptualizing and delivering special projects as assigned.
