About the role

We are looking for a Safety and Health Coordinator to join our expanding construction company in Zaragoza. The professional will ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations throughout the design and execution phases of building, infrastructure and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Safety and Health Coordinator during project and execution phases in accordance with RD 1627/1997.
• Review safety studies and plans, and verify compliance with current prevention legislation.
• Coordinate the implementation of general prevention principles on site and among contractors and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site visits, produce monitoring reports and identify non‑conformities.
• Provide technical advice to the design team and the promoter on safety matters.
• Support project managers in integrating safety considerations from the early design stage.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Accredited training as Safety and Health Coordinator (minimum 200 hours, per RD 1627/1997).
• More than 4 years of experience coordinating safety in construction, infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of occupational safety regulations and legislation.
• Experience in engineering, consultancy or site management is valued.

• Proficiency with office software.
• Proficiency with project management software.
