Construction Associate (LineMan)

About the role

The Transmission Line Lineman will provide technical support and site supervision for tower erection and conductor stringing on the 230kV Palauig–Botolan Transmission Line Project. The role focuses on monitoring construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved procedures and safety standards, and helping the project meet its energization schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support transmission tower erection activities.
• Monitor conductor stringing, sagging, clipping, and related line works.
• Verify construction follows approved work methods, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate daily progress and site issues with the EPC Contractor’s field personnel.
• Participate in site inspections and report quality, safety, and technical concerns.
• Assist in tracking progress, identifying schedule risks, and supporting punch‑listing of deficiencies.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input on line activities.
• Prepare daily or weekly reports on observations and progress.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in high‑voltage transmission line construction.
• Experience with 138kV, 230kV or higher voltage lines.
• Background supporting EPC, Owner’s Engineer, or construction supervision teams.
• Ability to interpret transmission line drawings and construction procedures.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Botolan, Zambales.
