Compliance Officer

About the role

The Compliance Officer ensures that all regulatory, documentary and compliance requirements are met accurately and on time to support business operations and special projects. Acting as the main liaison between the company, government agencies and external partners, this role secures permits, registrations, approvals and other necessary authorisations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and coordinate regulatory requirements with agencies such as BOI, DTI, LGUs and other relevant offices.
• Prepare, organise and submit documentation for permits, licences, registrations and compliance applications.
• Monitor application status, follow up on approvals and ensure timely completion of all requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather, validate and complete necessary documentation.
• Liaise with consultants, suppliers and external stakeholders to facilitate regulatory processes.
• Maintain organised records, tracking systems and filing for all compliance activities.
• Identify and escalate issues, risks or delays that could affect regulatory timelines.
• Provide administrative support for compliance documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Management, Public Administration or a related field.
• Experience in regulatory compliance, government processing, permits, licensing or documentation management is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, organisational and follow‑through abilities with capacity to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging internal stakeholders and government agencies.
• Highly detail‑oriented, resourceful and proactive in resolving issues.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork and regularly coordinate with government offices.
