Compliance Assistant

About the role

The Compliance Assistant will support the Chief Compliance Officer and Compliance Officers in ensuring RCBC Leasing operates in full compliance with banking regulations, AML/CTF frameworks, and related statutes. This position provides essential regulatory research, tracking, and administrative assistance across business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in researching and compiling compliance guidance on BSP regulations, SEC rules, and other relevant frameworks.
• Track, summarize, and flag regulatory updates and industry trends for senior compliance staff.
• Provide project and document administration to ensure regulatory implementation steps are documented and tracked.
• Gather and organize data to help assess compliance risks and identify emerging regulatory or AML/CTF issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in compliance or audit functions within the banking industry is preferred; fresh graduates are also welcome.
• Ability to monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including preparation and filing of regulatory reports.
• Willingness to work onsite in Makati City.
