Company Nurse

About the role

The Company Nurse delivers primary healthcare services directly within the workplace, ensuring employees receive prompt medical attention and supporting the organization’s health and safety initiatives. This role blends clinical care with occupational health program management to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑aid and basic medical assistance to employees on site.
• Respond swiftly to workplace injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee medical and health records.
• Coordinate medical consultations, referrals, and follow‑up appointments with external healthcare providers.
• Support and monitor occupational health, safety, and wellness programs.
• Promote proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
• Conduct health monitoring activities and assist with periodic health assessments.
• Ensure first‑aid supplies and medical equipment are stocked and functional.
• Collaborate with management to address employee health concerns and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Completion of the Basic Course in Occupational Medicine (BCOM).
• Preferably experience as a Company Nurse or Occupational Health Nurse.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and confidentiality skills.
