Community Manager – Gaming (HEFTY.GG)

About the role

HEFTY.GG, a new rewards platform for gamers built by GAMURS Group, is looking for its first community hire. You will launch and grow the community around the initial game launch (Old School Runescape) and shape how the brand engages with players.

Key responsibilities

• Build, moderate and grow the Discord server from scratch.
• Act as the day‑to‑day voice on Reddit, X (formerly Twitter) and other player‑focused platforms.
• Answer user questions, handle support enquiries and escalate technical issues.
• Run competitions and community events on a daily basis.
• Collect player feedback, complaints and sentiment and relay them to the product team.
• Maintain relationships with creators and community leaders.
• Stay informed about the game’s updates, culture, creators and in‑jokes.

Required profile

• Proven experience building or managing an online community, preferably in gaming.
• Excellent written English with the ability to adapt tone for Reddit, Discord and X.
• Comfortable being visible and responding to criticism publicly without becoming defensive.
• Good judgement to distinguish authentic communication from corporate messaging.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently as the sole community manager.
• Genuine curiosity about a game you may not have played yet.
