Community Manager (Discord & Telegram) for Prop Trading Firm

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to build and grow our trader community from the ground up. This role goes beyond moderation – you will design the community foundation, drive engagement, and shape the culture for a vibrant prop‑trading ecosystem on Discord and Telegram.

Key responsibilities

• Launch and manage Discord and Telegram communities from scratch.
• Design onboarding flows, engagement strategies, moderation processes, and best‑practice guidelines.
• Post announcements, payout notifications, competition updates, and firm news.
• Answer trader questions about rules, evaluations, platforms, payouts, and firm structure.
• Maintain high engagement through discussions, educational content, and regular interaction.
• Organize trading competitions, giveaways, challenges, leaderboards, and live events.
• Enforce community guidelines and moderate spam, toxicity, scams, or disruptive behavior.
• Relay trader feedback to support and leadership to improve the overall experience.
• Identify and outreach to influential traders, affiliates, and community leaders for partnerships.
• Monitor engagement metrics, sentiment, and growth, continuously optimizing retention.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience managing and scaling online communities, preferably in futures trading, prop firms, crypto, fintech, or financial services.
• Proven track record of building communities from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of futures trading, prop‑trading models, and trader psychology.
• Excellent written English communication skills, able to engage both beginners and seasoned traders.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, independent environment.

Required skills

• Expert‑level knowledge of Discord (server setup, channel organization, permissions, bots, automation).
• Expert‑level knowledge of Telegram (group management, bots, automation).
• Experience with community moderation tools and engagement features.
