Communications & Community Engagement Manager

About the role

The Sustainable Coconut Partnership seeks a dynamic Communications & Community Engagement Manager to shape our storytelling, grow our member network, and deliver memorable events. This role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution, focusing on digital communications, community building, and multi‑stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the connector between members, partners, media, and donors, managing online community spaces such as LinkedIn, Slack or Teams.
• Create and translate complex sustainability reports into bite‑size content for social media, newsletters, visuals and videos.
• Design and launch communication campaigns across email, social platforms, website and digital community tools.
• Oversee CRM and mailing systems (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Glue Up) to boost engagement and visibility.
• Leverage AI and digital tools to accelerate content production and ensure consistency.
• Coordinate external contractors, track performance metrics and continuously improve reach.
• Support planning and execution of both virtual and physical events.

Required profile

• Proactive, self‑driven professional comfortable managing multiple stakeholders without constant supervision.
• Strong background in digital communications, community management and content creation.
• Ability to translate technical sustainability data into clear, engaging narratives.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Glue Up or similar).
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and email campaign management.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted content creation tools.
