Commercial Specialist

About the role

The Commercial Specialist will develop proposals and tender documents to secure contracts for renewable energy projects. Working closely with the Project Planning and Commercial Management teams, you will ensure the best value and deal terms for outsourced services while supporting Aboitiz Power’s mission to transform energy.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents and contracts in coordination with the Commercial Manager.
• Assist in bid oversight, evaluation, and selection to achieve successful outcomes.
• Develop detailed, costed, and persuasive proposals.
• Resolve contract and payment issues, coordinating price, payment, and delivery terms with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with procurement and contracting processes across project development.
• Manage vendor disputes, assess performance, and drive cost‑reduction and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields.
• At least three years of procurement experience in construction, energy, or infrastructure.
• Minimum one year of technical experience in the construction industry.
• Procurement certification (e.g., QS Certificate) is an advantage.
