Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, deployment and optimisation of our cloud‑based services. The role will act as a subject‑matter expert, collaborating with multiple technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on cloud infrastructure architecture and best practices.
• Engage with cross‑functional teams to influence key technical decisions.
• Develop and deliver solutions to address immediate and cross‑team challenges.
• Facilitate training sessions to raise team competency in cloud technologies.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Serve as liaison between technical groups and business owners to align project goals.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in cloud infrastructure design and management.
• Strong background in Linux environments and content‑management systems.
• Deep understanding of incident and problem management processes.
• Experience working with AWS or Azure platforms.
• Hands‑on experience optimizing Alfresco or Mobius repositories, including archiving and content retrieval.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with both technical and business audiences.
