Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to lead the planning, organization and execution of our IT infrastructure in accordance with bank standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing cloud operations, supporting existing applications and designing new technical solutions for our Taguig‑based team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead application system enhancements and medium‑to‑complex infrastructure projects.
• Maintain consistency and maintainability of applications by defining and enforcing technical standards.
• Direct production tasks according to documented schedules, ensuring customer expectations are met.
• Assign workloads, balance duties among project team members and monitor quality assurance compliance.
• Review production performance, recommend enhancements and address audit findings.

Required profile

• Graduate of an IT‑related degree.
• More than 5 years of experience in systems analysis, design and development, with a focus on cloud environments.
• Proven experience managing AWS platforms and working with container technologies such as Kubernetes, EKS and OpenShift.
• Strong background in scripting and automation using tools like Terraform and Python.
• Project‑management experience and familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Taguig.
