Cloud Engineer – AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform

About the role

The Cloud Engineer will lead the planning, organization and execution of IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring compliance with bank standards and regulations. This role involves managing AWS cloud environments, container platforms, and developing automation solutions to support both existing applications and new technical initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead application system enhancements and complex infrastructure projects.
• Maintain and enforce standards for technical solutions to ensure consistency and maintainability.
• Direct production tasks according to documented schedules and monitor performance.
• Assign and balance workload among project team members.
• Ensure projects meet quality assurance standards and adhere to bank methodology, information security, and audit requirements.
• Review production systems and recommend improvements for efficiency.
• Provide solutions to address audit findings.

Required profile

• Graduate of an IT‑related degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in systems analysis, design and development with a focus on cloud environments.
• Proven experience managing AWS cloud platforms and container technologies such as Kubernetes, EKS and OpenShift.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like Terraform and Python.
• Project management experience and familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Taguig.
