Cloud Architect – SAP & GCP Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a senior Cloud Architect to lead the design, governance, and optimization of SAP environments on Google Cloud Platform. The role combines deep SAP BASIS expertise with advanced GCP architecture skills to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own architecture governance for SAP systems managed under AMS, ensuring SLA, SLO, and KPI compliance.
• Provide L3/L4 support guidance for critical SAP incidents and lead root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, and SAP BTP landscapes, handling refreshes, client copies, transport routes, and upgrades.
• Design and manage GCP Compute Engine resources, storage, backup, networking, and load‑balancing solutions.
• Drive cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives, monitoring platform health via Cloud Operations Suite.
• Optimize SAP HANA performance, govern HA/DR readiness, and maintain backup and business continuity.
• Lead ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, release) and implement automation with Terraform and scripting.
• Ensure security, IAM governance, encryption, audit logging, and compliance standards.

Required profile

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture (preferably GCP).
• Strong SAP BASIS and architecture background in AMS environments.
• Hands‑on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, and SAP BTP.
• Expertise in SAP HANA administration and performance tuning.
• Deep knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and incident/problem/change management.
• Practical experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, storage, backup).
• Proficiency in Terraform and scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
• Willingness to work onsite in Parañaque and be on‑call in a 24×7 AMS environment.
