Clinical Support Specialist – Nurse-Level

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Support Specialist with a nursing background to provide remote clinical documentation and provider‑communication support for a U.S. healthcare operations team. Working from India, you will act as the bridge between physician offices and our internal medical team, ensuring accurate and timely information flow.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient medical records and create concise, accurate clinical summaries.
• Identify and flag clinically significant findings for the medical team.
• Contact physician offices to request, obtain, or clarify medical records and procedure details.
• Communicate professionally with providers, medical office staff, and internal U.S. teams.
• Maintain high‑quality clinical documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Work U.S. business hours while based remotely in India.

Required profile

• Nursing background or equivalent hands‑on clinical experience.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret medical records to extract relevant information.
• Confidence communicating directly with physicians’ offices and medical staff.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Experience with EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner or Allscripts.
• Proficiency in clinical documentation and summarisation.
