Civil Estimator

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Estimator to join our Manila team supporting Quanta’s international projects. The role involves preparing accurate civil cost estimates, managing tender submissions and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical evaluation of business opportunities and tenders, developing cost‑effective solutions.
• Prepare and process RFQs, bills of quantities and quantity take‑offs for civil works.
• Liaise with engineering, project management, clients, consultants and subcontractors to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies.
• Attend site inspections and tender meetings, estimate quantities and costs, and recommend suitable construction methods.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and service providers, review offers and support post‑tender negotiations.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, monitor market tendering trends and ensure proper documentation storage.
• Provide commercial and technical comments on offers and assist in preparing project schedules and programs.
