Chief Financial Officer – Manila

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for its Global Services and Operations centre in Manila. The CFO will lead the finance function for the local entity, ensuring accurate, timely financial information and a robust control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the country finance team to provide strategic financial support and advice to senior management.
• Ensure all statutory and regulatory reporting obligations for the Manila entity are met.
• Oversee month‑end, periodic delivery, reconciliations, trial balance and accounting services to support financial reporting and audit completion.
• Maintain a strong control environment that satisfies external auditors and regulators.
• Act as the primary contact for the Manila Group Capability Centre Managing Director and liaise with local regulatory bodies.
• Represent Finance in senior‑management meetings, including EXCO and decision‑making committees.
• Drive continuous improvement and simplification of finance processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in statutory and regulatory reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage month‑end and periodic financial reporting cycles.
• Experience leading finance teams in a corporate setting.
