Chapter Lead - Mobile

About the role

EROAD is looking for a Mobile Chapter Lead to drive the strategy, standards and delivery of its mobile engineering discipline. Based in Manila, you will lead a team of mobile engineers while shaping innovative Android and cross‑platform applications that support the company’s global expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the mobile engineering strategy, architecture and best‑practice standards.
• Coach, mentor and manage a squad of mobile engineers, fostering technical growth and high performance.
• Deliver high‑quality, maintainable and performant native Android apps using Java, Kotlin and Kotlin Multi‑Platform.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend and design teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
• Promote mobile UX excellence, platform integrity and adherence to security and compliance guidelines.
• Leverage AI tools to increase productivity across the mobile chapter.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of professional experience in mobile engineering.
• Proven people‑leadership experience, capable of coaching and managing engineers.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑growing, global environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
