Certified Public Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Certified Public Accountant to join our finance team in Toril, Davao City. The CPA will ensure accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and support strategic decisions for our banana chip manufacturing and export operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyze financial statements for accuracy, compliance and timely reporting.
• Manage general ledger entries, oversee accounts payable and receivable, and monitor cash flow and budgeting activities.
• Handle tax preparation and filing, ensuring adherence to local and national tax regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with management to deliver financial insights, develop cost‑control measures and aid strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong accounting and finance background, including general ledger management, budgeting and financial analysis.
• CPA qualification with practical experience in public or corporate accounting.
• Experience in tax preparation and compliance with local and national tax laws.
• Proficiency in preparing and reporting financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; experience in manufacturing or export industries is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical abilities and sound judgment in financial decisions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with operations and management teams.
