Category & Commercial Management Intern

About the role

Join foodpanda’s fast‑growing commercial team as a Category & Commercial Management Intern. You will support supplier acquisition, onboarding and day‑to‑day supplier operations, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain for our food‑delivery platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and engage potential restaurant and supplier partners, negotiate terms and facilitate onboarding.
• Track daily supplier activities, including payment processing, purchase‑order monitoring and delivery status.
• Proactively resolve supplier concerns to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Act as the main liaison between internal teams (commercial, supply chain, finance, operations) and external suppliers, aligning expectations and fostering collaboration.

Required profile

• Eligible for an academic internship as part of your curriculum.
• Available to start in June or July.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to deliver quality work on time.
• Fast learner who can think critically and connect the dots.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Gsuite.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using meeting tools such as Google Meet.
• Experience using meeting tools such as Zoom.
