CAD Engineer – Automotive, Aerospace & Robotics

About the role

As a CAD Engineer you will work on complex design and simulation projects for automotive, aerospace and robotics customers, supporting major global OEMs. The role is hands‑on and requires deep technical expertise to deliver end‑to‑end engineering solutions within tight project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute advanced CAD models using CATIA V5/V6 on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
• Perform surface and generative shape design for automotive, aerospace and robotics applications.
• Lead the full design process from concept through detailed design and manufacturability assessment.
• Conduct design simulations and resolve engineering challenges within defined schedules.
• Collaborate with project teams and OEM partners to ensure outputs meet client specifications and quality standards.
• Participate in technical skill assessments and hands‑on design tasks during project onboarding.
• Support training and knowledge‑sharing activities aligned with industry programs.
• Maintain organized design files, documentation and project portfolios.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on CAD engineering experience in automotive, aerospace or robotics.
• Proven proficiency with CATIA V5 and/or CATIA V6 on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
• Certification in 3DEXPERIENCE or CATIA (Dassault Systèmes) strongly preferred.
• Strong background in surface design, generative shape design and manufacturability analysis.
• Experience working on projects with large OEMs such as Ford, Toyota, Airbus or Boeing.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and design‑for‑manufacture principles.
• Experience with simulation and structural/performance analysis is a plus.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant design projects is highly encouraged.
