Business Development Representative

About the role

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will drive creator, influencer, and brand acquisition for the IdeaMax platform. You will identify high‑potential partners across social channels, initiate outreach, and guide them through onboarding to expand our ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Research and build targeted prospect lists of creators and brands on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Etsy, and Shopify.
• Execute outbound outreach via DMs, email, and LinkedIn, personalize messages, and follow up until opportunities are qualified or closed.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, schedule discovery calls and demos, and coordinate handoffs with leadership.
• Support new creators during onboarding, gather feedback, and identify common objections to improve messaging.
• Monitor social trends, recommend suitable influencers, and assist marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• 2+ years of experience in business development, lead generation, or outbound sales.
• Comfortable communicating with U.S.-based customers.
• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and professional email outreach.
• Preferred experience with Shopify, e‑commerce, or creator‑economy businesses.
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a startup environment.
• Positive attitude with a growth mindset.
