Business Development Officer – Pasig City

About the role

The Business Development Officer will drive growth for financing products within a fast‑moving financial technology firm. You will identify new opportunities, build strategic relationships, and shape solutions that meet client needs in the Philippines market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for financing products and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, lenders, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Develop proposals and presentations tailored to client financing needs.
• Conduct market research to assess trends, competition, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with credit, risk, and operations teams to structure viable financing solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline and report on business development performance metrics.
• Negotiate commercial terms and support contract discussions with prospective partners.
• Represent the organization at meetings, networking events, and industry conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in business development, financial services, or commercial partnerships.
• Strong understanding of financing products, lending processes, and client acquisition.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into business strategies.
• Experience preparing proposals, forecasts, and performance reports.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Willingness to work in Santolan, Pasig and in the financial technology industry.
