Business Development Manager – Payments

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive merchant acquisition and revenue growth for Razer Merchant Services' (Fiuu) payment gateway in the Philippines. You will build strong relationships with merchants and partners, identify new opportunities, and deliver tailored payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain deep knowledge of Razer's payment gateway and acquiring products and communicate their value to merchants.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue and merchant acquisition targets across e‑commerce, retail, F&B, travel and digital services.
• Build and sustain long‑term relationships with merchants, banks, e‑wallet providers, payment schemes and channel partners.
• Understand merchant technical requirements and collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized payment solutions.
• Lead negotiations, structure deals and define pricing and commercial terms.
• Conduct market research on trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments, including BSP requirements.
• Represent Fiuu at industry events, expos and conferences to enhance brand visibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, IT or related field; MBA a plus.
• 5–8 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in payments, FinTech, acquiring or e‑commerce.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in the Philippine market.
• Strong understanding of the Philippine payments landscape, card acquiring, e‑wallets, QR Ph, InstaPay/PESONet and BSP regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English and Filipino.
