Business Development Manager

About the role

Open iT is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth for its advanced software license metering and reporting solutions. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signing, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored, value‑focused proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, face‑to‑face meetings, networking and referrals.
• Secure new contracts while meeting assigned sales quotas and growth targets.
• Assess customer challenges and goals to propose customized solutions.
• Educate prospects on business value, cost‑benefit analyses and ROI.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with both prospective and existing customers.
• Develop comprehensive account plans covering stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted opportunities.
• Partner with technical staff, product specialists and delivery teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

Required skills

• Enterprise software sales experience.
• SaaS solution selling.
• Knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM) concepts.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow platforms.
• Proficiency with CRM tools for lead and opportunity management.
