Business Development Executive – Pharmacy

About the role

The Business Development Executive (BD Pharmacist) will support the company’s pharmaceutical portfolio by identifying and engaging suppliers, negotiating terms, and managing product data to expand the product range.

Key responsibilities

• Source potential suppliers through websites, pharmaceutical conventions, and existing networks in the Philippines.
• Initiate contact with suppliers via introductory emails and gather IMS data on sales, competitors, and market growth.
• Collaborate with Operations Management/Business Development Managers to select products and create shortlists.
• Conduct price negotiations, request quotations, and evaluate MOQ/batch sizes based on market surveys.
• Discuss agreements, addenda, and address supplier queries related to regulations and basic requirements.
• Participate in conference calls to follow up on concerns and progress.
• Prepare brand name proposals for trademark checks and applications.
• Maintain and update all relevant reports and documentation.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with an active license.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Strong negotiation and forecasting abilities.
• Proficient computer skills with solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
