Business Development Executive (Demand Generation & SQL Growth)

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive demand generation activities and turn campaign‑driven interest into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs). Working within the Sales team and closely with Marketing, you will ensure that leads from webinars, email campaigns and social media are qualified, booked and handed over to the sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Execute demand‑generation campaigns, manage HubSpot lists and sequences, and support email, webinar and social media initiatives.
• Maintain a prospect tracker for assigned accounts (e.g., universities and public‑sector organisations) and prioritize high‑potential leads.
• Conduct outbound email outreach, qualification conversations and convert engaged prospects into SQLs.
• Book qualified meetings and demos for the Sales team and support sales‑led webinars or briefings.
• Track and report outreach volume, qualified conversations, meetings booked, SQLs generated and pipeline impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• At least 3 years of end‑to‑end software sales experience.
• Strong interest in sales development, business growth and marketing execution.
• Coachable, proactive and results‑driven attitude.

Required skills

• HubSpot (campaign management, list maintenance, sequencing).
