Building Engineer

About the role

The Building Engineer will oversee the operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire‑safety (MEPFS) equipment within a large shopping mall. The role ensures that utilities are reliable, safety standards are met, and environmental regulations are complied with.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of mall equipment and utilities.
• Plan, schedule, and execute repairs, preventive maintenance, and replacements of MEPFS systems.
• Monitor compliance with government and local agency standards.
• Act as the designated Pollution Control Officer, managing waste and emissions.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and regulatory filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional engineering license in the relevant field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in building, facilities, or property management.
• Experience in environmental or pollution control management is preferred.
• Willingness to work on‑site at MOA Complex, Pasay City.
