BU Financial Controller – Finance Leadership

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Unit Financial Controller to lead financial planning, reporting, controls, and performance management for our Paranaque City office. The role works closely with the Business Unit Head and Corporate Finance team to drive profitability, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and support strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Business Unit leaders to improve financial performance and profitability.
• Provide insights on revenue, expenses, and growth opportunities.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes and prepare regular financial reports.
• Track actual results versus budget, explain variances, and present updates to management.
• Ensure internal controls protect company assets and oversee accounting accuracy.
• Manage audit requirements and compliance with tax and regulatory standards.
• Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation solutions.
• Lead, develop, and coach the finance team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; postgraduate studies a plus.
• At least 10 years of accounting experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, internal controls, risk management, and business finance partnering.
• Preferably experience in the restaurant or F&B industry and handling international accounts.

Required skills

• CPA certification.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in establishing and monitoring internal controls.
• Experience managing audit processes and regulatory compliance.
