Bookkeeping Accountant

About the role

Brainy, an online bookkeeping and accounting services startup, is looking for a meticulous CPA to join its growing team. As a Bookkeeping Accountant you will maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and deliver high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage clients’ accounting systems to keep financial records accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Prepare financial statements, accounting reports and perform bank and account reconciliations according to client schedules.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Support client onboarding and handle client inquiries via phone and email.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, analyst and creative teams on campaign execution.
• Assist in creating content for the Brainy website and marketing materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Experience working at a Big Four firm or a Fortune 500 company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
