Bookkeeper – Accountant Level (Remote, Night Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper – Accountant Level to manage and maintain our financial records remotely. This night‑shift position (EST) supports the finance team by delivering accurate reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger entries, perform reconciliations, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Conduct bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash‑flow reports, and periodic financial statements.
• Assist with tax return preparation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable, billing, collections, payroll, and expense reimbursements.
• Support auditing processes by providing accurate data and documentation.
• Implement internal controls to safeguard financial accuracy.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for management.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably at a senior or accountant level.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex data analysis.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and related financial regulations.
• CPA or Certified Bookkeeper designation is a plus.
