Bid Specialist / Construction Estimator (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Bid Specialist / Construction Estimator to support our inside sales team. Working remotely, you will manage bid opportunities from intake through submission, ensuring accurate and competitive proposals for public and private construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review incoming bid requests and analyze construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Prepare cost estimates and quotations using Infor Syteline ERP.
• Submit quotations to the sales team or directly to customers and bid portals following established workflows.
• Search and prioritize new bid opportunities on ConstructConnect and other platforms (iSqFt, BuildingConnected, Dodge Construction Network, SAM.gov).
• Monitor bid updates, addenda, and project changes to keep quotations current.
• Manage a personal pipeline of opportunities in HubSpot or a similar CRM, tracking each project from inquiry to final submission.
• Coordinate with internal estimating, business development, and sales teams to resolve scope, pricing, or documentation questions.
• Communicate professionally with vendors, contractors, architects, and owners via email and phone as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years experience in construction estimating, bid coordination, or a closely related role.
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid packages.
• Experience working with bid portals such as ConstructConnect, iSqFt, BuildingConnected, Dodge, or SAM.gov.
