Bank Teller – Customer Sales & Service Associate

About the role

The Customer Sales and Service Associate (CSSA) works at branch locations to process both financial and non‑financial transactions while promoting bank products. The role requires fast, accurate service and strict adherence to compliance and risk standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process over‑the‑counter transactions such as cash/check deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, fund transfers, and auxiliary services (foreign exchange, manager’s checks, remittances, etc.).
• Open new accounts, conduct KYC verification, and ensure all documentation is complete, scanned, and filed.
• Maintain cash limits, perform end‑of‑day balancing, and handle accountable forms.
• Cross‑sell bank products and update customer contact information.
• Execute operational duties including custodial functions, preparation of outgoing mail, payment of branch expenses, and upkeep of workstations.
• Observe security, safety, and health protocols and act as a contingent C‑signor when required.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
• Ability to follow regulatory and internal policies, including KYC and enhanced due diligence.
• Good communication skills for explaining terms and conditions to customers.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a branch environment.
