Auxiliary Operator (Boiler/Turbine)

About the role

We are looking for an Auxiliary Operator to support the safe and efficient operation of our boiler‑turbine plant. Working closely with the Control Room Engineer, you will assist in plant start‑up, shutdown, handling system abnormalities and emergency shutdowns, following established procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with the Control Room Engineer during plant start‑up, shutdown and abnormal conditions.
• Execute emergency shutdowns of the boiler, turbine‑generator and auxiliary equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitor and control plant parameters to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain compliance with environmental and grid regulatory requirements.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies by applying the operation’s emergency response procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related industrial discipline; professional license is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a power plant or related industry, or completion of a cadetship program.
• Ability to follow SOPs and operate plant equipment safely.
• Working knowledge of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
• Basic understanding of environmental and grid regulatory compliance.
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to safe work practices.
• Willingness to be based in Masinloc, Zambales.
