Automotive Operations Manager

About the role

The Automotive Operations Manager will lead all automotive‑related activities for EV Solutions, overseeing the company’s fleet to ensure reliable, cost‑effective transportation support for sales, distribution and administrative teams. This full‑time, on‑site position reports directly to senior management and works closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, preventive maintenance, repairs, registration and insurance.
• Monitor performance metrics such as fuel efficiency, utilization, downtime and maintenance costs, and drive process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine safety, transport and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, distribution, administration) and external vendors (service centers, parts suppliers, insurance providers).
• Lead, coach and develop the automotive operations team, establishing clear work plans, documentation and quality standards.
• Negotiate and oversee contracts with service providers, parts suppliers and insurance partners.

Required profile

• Strong background in automotive operations, fleet management and vehicle maintenance planning.
• Proficiency in operational planning, scheduling and logistics coordination to support field and distribution needs.
• Knowledge of Philippine safety, transport and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in vendor management, including negotiation and oversight.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with team supervision and performance management.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data and KPIs to inform decisions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Relevant technical or bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
