Audit Manager – Group Capability Centre

About the role

ANZ’s Internal Audit function is seeking an Audit Manager for the Group Capability Centre in Manila. The role will lead operational audits, provide independent assurance on governance, risk management and controls, and support the bank’s 2030 strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assigned audits to high standards within agreed timelines, ensuring independent assurance over governance, risk management and controls.
• Report to the Audit Director – GCC and execute operational audits, contributing to evidence‑based assessments of control effectiveness.
• Collaborate with audit teams and business stakeholders to produce high‑quality audit outcomes in line with Internal Audit methodology and global standards.
• Provide specialist operational risk insights and promote a strong speak‑up culture throughout the audit process.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in internal audit methodology, evidence standards and issue validation.
• Solid understanding of Group Capability Centre operations, processes, controls and dependencies.
• Proven ability to assess conduct, regulatory, fraud, technology and transaction risk.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and clear communication of audit insights.
• Ability to support team development and foster a speak‑up culture.
• Exposure to remediation, operational and transformation audits.
