Associate Software Technical Analyst - Finance & Treasury Systems

About the role

Manulife is looking for an Associate Software Technical Analyst to work with the Finance & Treasury Systems team, which manages a complex SOX-compliant infrastructure holding the financial information needed for Source of Earnings and general ledger reporting. The team also supports enterprise-wide cash management and treasury solutions, including banking interfaces, for over 4,000 global users.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Finance & Treasury business team and stakeholders to find ways to deliver new business value through software, infrastructure and services.
• Support the complex Finance & Treasury systems and improve financial reporting processes in a large client-server and intranet web environment.
• Maintain delivery services with accountability for production reliability, usage and new functionality.
• Support non-production and production operations and fixes, working with support teams and vendors.
• Work on a rotating schedule, adjusting to meet the global team and support weekend deployments or production needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems or a related field.
• At least 1-3 years of experience with at least 3 of the listed technologies.
• Amenable to working in UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City).
• Amenable to a hybrid setup (3 days a week onsite).
• Amenable to any shift schedule assigned, preferably day or night.

Required skills

• Preferred: batch scheduling tools (CAWLA), Unix and Unix scripting, SQL/Oracle, Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Lake, Power BI, Oracle Hyperion Essbase, Java, Python.
• Preferred: Agile, DevOps, test-driven development, CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins, ITIL4 and ServiceNow, FTP, HTML, XML and parsers.
