Associate General Counsel Manager

About the role

The Associate General Counsel Manager will support corporate governance, compliance and privacy initiatives across the organization. Working in a hybrid setup, you will partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen internal controls and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in corporate governance, public filings and entity management.
• Monitor legislative updates and regulatory developments affecting the business.
• Research, develop and maintain privacy and data‑protection policies, standards and processes.
• Collaborate with business teams to address privacy considerations and advise on regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to the creation of public‑policy position papers, presentations and related documentation.
• Handle commercial contracts and support legal aspects of IT‑industry projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) with 6‑8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Philippine lawyer with experience in the IT sector.
• Proven experience handling commercial contracts.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with international stakeholders.
