Associate Cybersecurity Analyst (Entry‑Level)

About the role

The Associate Cybersecurity Analyst position is designed for recent graduates who are eager to start a career in technology and security. Through structured training, mentorship, and hands‑on projects, you will gain exposure to security operations, automation, cloud environments, and enterprise IT.

Key responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity assurance activities, including compliance reviews and evidence collection.
• Monitor external security findings, track vulnerabilities, and assist with risk assessments.
• Configure and maintain security monitoring, observability, and dashboard solutions.
• Automate security operations using APIs, scripting, and workflow automation tools.
• Assist with user access reviews and access‑management processes for business applications.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Prepare business cases, proof‑of‑concepts, testing activities, and project documentation.
• Participate in security assessments, risk analysis, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on technology projects and security programs.
• Develop technical and professional skills through training and mentoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong academic record.
• Foundational knowledge of computer networks, databases, Windows/Linux operating systems, and web technologies.
• Interest in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, automation, or software development.
• Basic exposure to programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, or IT service‑management concepts is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
