Associate Attorney (Full-time, Makati)

About the role

GGL Law is seeking a full‑time Associate Attorney to join its Makati office. Working under the direct supervision of senior partners, you will contribute to a wide range of legal matters while receiving hands‑on mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review pleadings, contracts, legal opinions, and other client documents.
• Conduct comprehensive legal and factual research, including case law, statutes, and administrative issuances.
• Prepare case strategies, memoranda, and support materials for litigation and negotiations.
• Participate in client meetings, provide clear legal advice, and attend court or administrative hearings as required.
• Assist in settlement discussions, negotiations, and dispute resolution.
• Coordinate with colleagues and staff to ensure accurate and timely case management.
• Collaborate closely with partners for mentoring, training, and professional development.

Required profile

• Admission to the Philippine Bar in good standing.
• Strong foundation in law with the ability to give practical legal advice.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Filipino.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to ethical practice.
• Analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Capacity to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a team‑oriented environment.
• Open to litigation; less than 1 year of experience and willingness to be mentored are preferred.
