Assistant Manager Design Management Architect (Project-Based)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to support our Design Manager in overseeing architectural design projects. This project‑based position involves monitoring consultant outputs, ensuring design compliance, and coordinating across multiple trades.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and evaluate consultant deliverables throughout planning and design phases.
• Manage contracts for consultants, including billing processing and contract issuance.
• Lead design coordination meetings and conduct site inspections.
• Coordinate technical aspects for architecture, engineering, and landscape trades.
• Review plans, perform site inspections, and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure designs meet budget, company standards, permit, and code requirements.
• Assist in standardizing design processes and documentation.
• Support research on materials, construction trends, and competitive analysis.

Required profile

• Licensed Architect or Engineer.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills.
• Ability to work independently or within a team.
• Preferably experienced in design management.
