Asia Audit Manager

About the role

3M is seeking an Asia Audit Manager to lead a team of auditors across South East Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand. The role offers the chance to work on audits of subsidiaries, service centers, plants, acquisitions and critical business processes, providing broad exposure to 3M’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5‑6 auditors across multiple geographies, set goals, and drive performance.
• Assist in annual global audit scoping and planning for the region.
• Plan, scope, execute and report operational audit engagements in diverse manufacturing environments.
• Perform risk assessments, evaluate control designs, identify gaps and recommend mitigating actions.
• Gather, analyze and interpret complex data; conduct interviews with auditees and management.
• Prepare and present audit reports, discuss findings with management, and follow up on remediation plans.
• Review working papers to ensure compliance with internal audit quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
• At least 5 years of people‑management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance.
• Experience in internal or external audit, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
