Area Manager - Restaurant Operations

About the role

The Area Manager – Restaurant Operations leads multiple Tapa King locations, driving sales, profitability and the delivery of the brand’s signature Pinoy Bisita Hospitality. This full‑time, on‑site position oversees P&L performance, operational standards and franchise partner relationships across the assigned area.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve store sales, transaction and profitability targets while managing food, labor and controllable costs.
• Analyze performance data, identify gaps and implement corrective action plans.
• Ensure consistent execution of Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Hospitality (QSCH) standards.
• Coach and develop Restaurant Managers and store leaders to strengthen operational and financial capabilities.
• Partner with franchisees, conduct regular business reviews and align them with brand priorities.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels, drive employee engagement and support succession planning.
• Collaborate with Marketing, HR, Supply Chain, Finance and other support functions to meet business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven multi‑unit restaurant operations experience (3–5 years preferred), ideally in quick‑service or casual dining.
• Strong understanding of restaurant P&L management, including sales, food cost, labor cost and productivity.
• Experience working with franchisees or in franchise operations is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop restaurant management teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management or related field is preferred.
