Analyst Programmer – Application Development

About the role

The Analyst Programmer will design, develop, maintain and enhance application systems while ensuring comprehensive documentation. You will work closely with business users to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse user requirements for system design.
• Design and develop application modules, file structures, interfaces, programs and reports.
• Implement backup, recovery and archiving procedures.
• Code, compile and test new or revised programs following SDLC, security and audit standards.
• Prepare test data, conduct functional testing and create test, conversion and implementation plans.
• Maintain system documentation and user manuals.
• Supervise file conversions and provide technical support to end‑users.
• Deliver initial training to users and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (minimum 4‑year) in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience with .NET, Java, JavaScript, Finacle or Salesforce platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cloud‑based platforms.
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to contribute to business unit goals.
