Allocation Lead – Middle Mile Operations

About the role

The Allocation Lead will oversee daily truck dispatch planning and allocation between sorting centres and regional hubs, ensuring efficient use of the fleet and high delivery compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily truck dispatch planning and allocation from sorting centres to regional centres and direct hubs.
• Plan efficient routes, backloads and trip assignments to maximise truck utilisation.
• Monitor fleet availability, performance and SLA compliance.
• Address delays, breakdowns and driver performance issues promptly.
• Coordinate with the Supply team on truck supply and issues.
• Track operational KPIs such as on‑time dispatch, transit compliance, cost efficiency and truck attendance.
• Lead and mentor Middle Mile Coordinators/Allocators, communicating priorities and execution plans.
• Optimise use of low‑cost or controlled trucks (wet‑lease and dry‑lease) to reduce transportation cost.
• Prepare regular performance reports on middle‑mile operations, truck utilisation and issues.
• Support campaign planning and adjust resources as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, any Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years experience in logistics or transportation, preferably middle‑mile operations.
• At least 3 years supervisory experience in operations or transport management.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine geography and truck‑ban regulations.
• Proven people‑management experience with direct supervision.
• Demonstrated analytical and productivity‑management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Filipino.
• Ability to lead teams under pressure and meet results‑oriented goals.
• Willingness to work shifting schedules, night shifts and weekends as required.
